What is Windows 10 Fast Startup?
The Fast Startup ( hybrid shutdown ) Feature first inaugurated in Windows 8 RTM, is enabled by default in Windows 10. The feature is specially intended to make your PC boot faster after it has shut down. Basically, When you shut down your computer with Fast Startup enabled, Windows closes all applications and logoff all users, just as in a normal cold shutdown. At this point, Windows is in a state very similar to when it’s freshly booted up: No users have logged in and started programs, but the Windows kernel is loaded and the system session is running. Windows then alert device drivers that support it to prepare for hibernation, saves the current system state to the hibernation file and turns off the computer.

To Disable fast startup mode in windows 10, click on windows 10 start menu search type control panel and hit the enter key. On control panel change the view by small icon and click on Power options as shown below image.
On next screen click on the ‘Choose what the power buttons do’ option on the left side of the screen
Then Click on the blue ‘Change Settings that are currently unavailable’ link to disable Fast Startup mode in Windows 10.
Now simply uncheck the box next to ‘Turn on Fast Startup’ option and click on the Save changes button Recover my files activation key.
That’s all, Click on save changes button to effect the changes. This way you have successfully disable Fast Startup mode in Windows 10. Anytime if you want to enable it again, all you need to do is just perform the steps described above and check the box next to the Turn on Fast Startup option.
