Super Mario Strikers is a five-a-side football (Soccer) video game in which you square up against other teams in cup matches varying in level. Each captain has a special 'Super Charge' shot they can do once on the opposing side of the field which is worth (2x) if scored. Each captain and sidekicks (team members you can pick such as Birdo's, Koppa's, ect.) has game play varying from offensive to defensive to balanced. During game play, you can get various power ups such as: bob-ombs, red shells, green shells, stars, ect. As you would imagine in a wacky Mario sports game, there is no such thing as 'Penalties' unlike regular soccer.

This game is very fun and can be quite challenging if you get far enough. Even though the game would be considered very short for those who are very skilled with soccer games, this is a game you will love to play for many months to come.
